i will be flying on KE #86 from jfk-icn. from what i understand this is one of the newer 747 and i just wanted to know if their is place to plug in my laptop on board in Y? thanks

yes, there is place to plug your laptop.
right under your arm rest.

There's also internet connection for around 20 bucks.

You may find, as I did, that my laptop was completly unecessary as the in flight entertainment system was outstanding with more movies, TV shows, and music than I could possibly imagine. Of course, if you're working then thats another story.
