Yeah... a vendor offers to buy miles and probably pay a fee in exchange for a plug and listing as a partner on the website. How foolish of Tempe to take their money.

I expected that sort of response from you. How original. If you look at the context of my statement you'd realize that USAIRWAYS is giving itself away more so now than during the 2 BK's periods. They've managed to pi$$ off enough of us HIGH YIELD customers and now they are trying to "win" us back with stupid promotions where everything counts.
How about treating your best customers properly in the first place and we wouldn't have to start flying the other airlines. How about having clean planes. How about having frequency on FULL size jets instead of the LAWNDARTS? How about NOT hawking those damnedable credit card applications on every fracking flight?
How about having an airline I want to fly instead of wanting to avoid?
Valid questions, perfectly stated. In my opinion, however, the lawndarts are okay because they still go at 500 mph and are broadly used by nearly all carriers. Everything else that US is doing, they are doing on their own, and nobody is impressed and nobody is following them. You and I know the failure guarantee of that, but they don't. Yet.........
Because all other carriers followed and imitated Doug regarding snack boxes and lack of Saturday night stay requirements, Doug mistakenly thought that the USA air carrier business was monkey-see, monkey-do. But instead, Doug and US are now being ignored (and not followed) by almost everybody, passengers and competitors. They lost their mo-jo and don't know it yet because in this case, they changed to anti-customer and all other carriers stayed the same or got a little better. Good 4 us and bad 4 US.

You want to talk about changes to the program and the airline, that's fine. You might try a topic relevant to that next time, rather than complaining about a program that has been around for a few years in one form or another. You did know that, didn't you?

Oh I knew. What I found RELEVANT about this promotion is that US is pushing a NETWORKING company and US can't even get it's own NETWORK to work properly.
Now that's FUNNY !!!
And if you don't care for a topic that's started on here, don't post a reply if you don't want a reaction. Sorta the kitchen and the heat analogy.

Really, get a grip.
BTW, hosting and web design are a very different animal than "networking". Heat. Kitchen. And all that.

Agreed. Just ignore him like 100% of the other board members. Shoulda been banned a long time ago, but we guess he is related to someone.

Of course it does seem that US is having site related problems rather than networking issues. It is at least a little ironic that they're advertising "one-of-a-kind", "professional" web design and hosting, when it seems they could use some help in that dept. themselves.

I really don't see your point.
Airline coffee is not so great, yet I can earn miles at the Starbucks store. Do you also find this funny?

Isn't UA actually using Starbucks coffee in the air. I seem to remember that on a flight with them in August. Maybe they found it funny...
