Now that we're assured that the University of Hawaii will be in the Hawaii Bowl this Christmas Eve, anyone else going?
Just got my tickets today; looking forward to what might be a very exciting game with Hawaii taking on Oregon/Washington/Washington St./ASU or UCLA.
I'm hoping for the latter.

Just a little bump to see if anyone else will be heading to the Hawaii Bowl (any ASU fans out there?)
FWIW, I am very depressed at the loss today. Just too many chances that were lost by Hawaii. Colt Brennan's gotta be pretty disappointed with himself, but he's still a great QB.

I am trying to talk my hubby into going; he's not budging yet but we will see (I need him to drive). I will keep working on him and the "kids", but nobody seems interested in leaving the beach as of yet.
My heart's broken today too after that very emotional loss by Rutgers. What an edge of seat game!

I have to admit that OSU played a very good game. Congrats on your #25/#24 ranking.

I would go to the Hawai'i Bowl, but I've got to work Christmas Eve and a plane ticket from PHX is running kinda high for my skim budget. :(
Would have loved to bid aloha 'oe to Dirk Koetter........don't let the door slam on your way out. :p

I'm not going, but seeing as how Sheraton is the title sponsor of the game...

...if I were, as a top level elite member of their program, I'd probably be attempting a mooch with some execs for possible invites to special sponsor VIP events/section/goodies etc, etc.
I'm not above begging for trinkets.

I was going to attend but something came up and I won't be visiting home until late January. At least I'll get to watch the Super Bowl with friends and family as opposed to alone in Seoul at 8 or 9 am.

Just a quick bump as the Hawaii Bowl is this upcoming Saturday (also ranked as #3 of the "bowls to watch" (http://cfn.scout.com/2/597354.html)).
Anyone else going?

With the great wave conditions on Sunset this weekend and the traffic (ugh!) we have decided to have a Pay-Per-View game party right here on the lawn instead. If you or anyone else should find yourselves up here this afternoon, stop by! (leave me a PM and I will send my cell number). Another epic day on Sunset Beach!
BTW, how in heck do they think this area can handle 3500 more hotel rooms?!?!?!?!

PPV? It's on ESPN. :p
We're leaving at around 1. I know there'll be traffic, but the game's not sold out, so it shouldn't be as bad as the OSU or Purdue game.
Should be fun. :)

Should be fun. :)
Hopefully you had fun at the game. ;)
As one of the ESPN commentators stated: "Hawai'i worked ASU like a part-time job." It certainly looked like it in the second half. :p

We had a blast at the game. And I'm sorry for the loss to end ASU's season. But, being at that stadium beginning with the third quarter was amazing. When a piece of metal such as Aloha Stadium begins to rock with a 43k crowd, it's an eerie feeling. :)
