Huh? My uncle tried to change his PIN to get the 500 mile bonus, and instead he got this page about giving his e-mail address in exchange for 500 miles. He declined. I'm wondering, if he did this would he be getting ONE THOUSAND MILES for both changing the PIN and offering the e-mail address. Huh?

This is really strange, I did the pin update on 5/25 and got 500 miles.
Then on 5/30 I got my statement and it said the bonus was for E-mail notifcation of special offers etc, so I just checked my account and found I was awarded 500 miles for "Online E-mail update " AND 500 miles for " Pin Customizatiion "
Checked my wife's account and she got 1000 miles too.
So it appears that both are linked, you get 1000 miles for doing the e-mail bonus and your pin is "customized".
