My wife and I are thinking about moving to Maui in the next couple months.

Does anyone know what the resident rates are at all the local Maui golf courses?

I've found visitor rates...but not resident rates.

I can't help you with your specific question (hopefully someone here can), and you may well know this (so ignore if you do :D ) but the usual term for resident discount is "kama'aina" or "kamaaina."

A search using those terms might yield more info?

And welcome to FlyerTalk!

Lots of good kama'aina rates, from $16 - $40, 18 holes, cart included!

Kama'aina rates require a valid Hawaii State ID or HDL (Driver's License), so get one of those once you move to take advantage of the rates.

To clarify cblaisd's post: "kama'aina" by itself doesn't mean discount. It means "local." So don't go to a pro-shop asking for a "kama'aina," you might be sorry with what you end up getting. ;)

I've had my local golf pro here in Idaho get me kama'aina rates in the past and they tend to be about 50% off. Elleair was $49 instead of $98 two years ago.
