Does anyone have any hotels near the SIN airport.

I am aware of the transit hotel, but looking more for a regular hotel that might have an airport shuttle.

Does such a property exisit?

Le Meridien Changi is close and has shuttle service. You can book it with asiarooms.com. You can find other hotels in the airport area at this site as well, but none provides shuttle.

I was actually looking for a close property that mightn have an airport shuttle.

Le Meridien Changi (Changi Village Hotel) is the closest hotel to the airport. Until Crowne Plaza Changi Airport opens in 2008, that is.

If you fire up www.streetdirectory.com and search on 1 Netheravon Road, the Changi Village hotel's address, you'll see it's not all that close to the terminals. The hotel website says 15 minutes away, which sounds about right.

You might as well go to some cheapo place in Geylang or all one of the Marina hotels (Conrad, etc.) or the Intercontinental by Bugis MRT.

It's not a very good hotel though (do a search) and there are rumors of it being un-Meridiened in the near future. You can get to the center of the city in 15-20 minutes, and taxi fares are cheap, so there really isn't much of a reason not to stay in another hotel.
