Dubrovnik in Croatia is another fantastic place to visit.

If you like Italy I loved Lake Garda. Riva Del Garda is a place I want to visit many, many times.

Italy: Try Sorrento (and Capri).

I second (or third) the vote for the Amalfi coast and in particular Positano and Hotel California Positano (http://www.hotelcaliforniapositano.it/uk/index_uk.htm)! We took a three day vacation from our vacation in Positano and did not want to leave.
