I know I've read this but can't seem to find it again.

I am flying RSW-SAN next week. RSW-CLT is US. CLT-PHX is US. PHX-SAN is HP. Has anyone had trouble upgrading when using both carriers?

As an aside here, when I tried to book this online it said I had to call the call center. The Center was located in El Salvador. It took them 45 minutes to book what I had done on line in 5 minutes.

Instead of calling CP desk, called the number listed in the message from online booking. It was a Saturday night and figured that the booking number had all of the info right there. Big mistake!

General reservations can't always match the website fare on an international itin - I'm assuming this would apply to the CP desk as well.
