It looks like after Oct 29th all flights to PHX and LAS will be on US East. It probably means squat, but interesting nonetheless. I wonder if they will do this at other cities to expedite getting rid of the separate checkin lines and integrating employees.

It looks like after Oct 29th all flights to PHX and LAS will be on US East. It probably means squat, but interesting nonetheless. I wonder if they will do this at other cities to expedite getting rid of the separate checkin lines and integrating employees.
My guess is that it's more of an equipment utilization issue - kind of like with the US East aircraft flying SAN-PHX.

To make matters worse, only it's 1 am flight and 1 pm flight to both PHX & LAS from PIT.
