Singapore is a great city - also from the air with the ships in the Straits of Malacca.

Arriving from the north (BKK) which side of the plane would you recommend to get a window seat for the best panorama?

Well it depends on which side the aircraft lands. N or S

Usually towards the end of the year, they land from the south and the LH side of the plane is better.

My office is right under the flightpath into runway 02L so do wave when you come in to land :D

Thank you, I will try to open the window :) . And should you fly into ZRH from Asia one day, please sit also on the left side, the panorama of the Austrian and then Swiss Alps can be fantastic.

I wish I could but winter flights into ZRH usually land in the early hours when it is still dark - can't see anything! :)

But thanks for the tip! Will remember that!

I usually wave a finger at my former office while landing (directed at my former manager)...and I know that's in the general direction of your office. Sorry :p
