I know we've been thru this, but I can't seem to put my paws on this information (even after doing a search). Would someone please remind me how we can look-up the fare buckets, pricing by fare and availability of fare classes? The rebranded HP site doesn't seem to have this capability.
I'm trying to find some M, H and Q fares for upcoming travel to Latin America. I'm going to burn-up my DMUTA5's on this trip.
Thank you.

The site doesn't do that anymore, I think there's some functionality on travelocity? I can't provide details since I use www.expertflyer.com for that kind of info. Maybe someone can provide more info.
Recently there was an employee communication posted that hinted at the fare look-up capability being restored to usairways.bomb at some future time (when they have worked out all the bugs and pigs fly  ).
Curious: how do you use your CP certs for Latin America travel? I thought those are only good for Europe and Hawaii?

As you search for an itinerary, select your flights and continue as if you are going to purchase a ticket. The fare basis will show on the ensuing screen. It's not as easy as it was previously when US had a dedicated page that pulls up the fare classes for a specific flight.

The old US Airways website also use to show you the fare rules, and dates and a bunch load of other informaiton as well.

I'm looking at some pricing to go BOS-AMS via the promo... in late JAN.
Question is...
Would discounted Envoy (Z Class) really be cheaper than instant upgardable coach or unrestricted coash in some instances? That's what I'm seeing, I think, but not really sure.
Anyone care to comment? Alternatively can someone recommend how to look for fares that you can use your CP certs on?

ITA Software Matrix Tool (http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/) ...Additionally it has an undocumented feature that allows you to specify specific fare buckets. If you want to, for instance, search for A bucket availability on the HKG-JFK route on Cathay Pacific you would enter the search as From: HKG:: cx+ / f bc=a and To: JFK:: cx+ / f bc=a. You can substitute the "cx" with the proper airline code for the airline you wish to check, and substitute the "bc=a" with "bc=X" where X is the fare bucket you wish to check.
Another poster had recommended this link, and I use it occasionally to check for B and M, H, Q availability transAtlantic
As for fare bucket availability, Travel and Transport (http://tandt.com) , click on Online Resv, sign up for free registration, then Advanced/Expert Mode, and it will display the buckets when you browse for flights.
All this, of course, for the occasional flyers like me. I think the real road warriors prefer expertflyer.com !

Alphaguy,
Since you're a CP and can most usually get a quick connect with an agent, call the CP line and let them look up the info for you. I too, prefer to do the digging myself, and I always aplolgize to the agents for the query, but most of them understand that the "new and improved" website simply is not conceived with the customer in mind and they're glad to sort things out for you.
We should however let US know in no uncertain terms what the shortcomings of the web site are. Perhaps someone in Tempe may actually sit down and try to use the site in the same manner as FFers and elites. I doubt that they'll change anything soon, but it could end up on a "to do" list once the systems are fully merged.

You're right -- but I'm trying to go from a vacation/work related trip in Central America to a meeting in Geneva and was hoping to upgrade my flight from vacation back thru CLT and PHL and into CDG as there's then a cheap round trip on Air France from Paris to Geneva. Complicated, I know.
And you're right, US Preferreds get free upgrades space available everywhere US flies except for Hawaii and Europe.
