I was wondering if any of you had any experience using the US Air Vacations booking and booking the package. My wife and I are headed to Las Vegas in December and I thought I'd check not expecting to find any good deals, but the deals on US Air are incredible. Right now I can catch non-stop flights from Boston to Vegas and stay at a particular hotel for a total (after fees and taxes) of $735 for my wife and I. If I were to book the same flights by themselves, the flights alone would cost me $634 and the hotel alone would cost me $488. So that's a savings of almost $400. I'm conditioned to think that this is too good to be true--anyone have any experience doing these bookings? Is there some catch that I am not seeing??

We booked a US Airways Vacation package to France because it was such a good value (usually packages are not). It was at a top notch hotel and we got a great room. It was very large by Paris standards and the view couldn't have been better.

Thanks for the info all. It's given me great confidence to book through this. My wife and I are looking to go out for two nights (a Sat thru Mon) in december and the deals were just shocking to me. Why anyone wouldn't use it is beyond me. Was looking at it some more and if I were to book these flights, it would cost us $317 a person, but if you were to book the vacation with the same flights and stay at a cheap place on the strip, like the Stratosphere, it would actually cost like $270 a person. Heck--even if I didn't want to stay at the strat, I'd just book the vacation, go run over, check in and check out the day I was leaving and save the almost $50 a person just for the flight.

They have a choice of pretty much every place out there. I like to stay somewhere new each time I go--so far have been to Caesars, Bellagio, Wynn, Hard Rock, Paris and Mandalay. I think we're going to try the Signature Hotel at MGM this time.

US Airways has the largest number of daily seats into LAS and US Airways Vacations (USV) provides the hotels with several thousand "room nights" on a nightly basis.
