I am booked in seat 7C LAS-SNA and am wondering where the best seating is on this plane (I do not have any status) Orbits shows row 6 as having 2 seats per side where Seatguru.com show 3. Which is correct? I also cannot tell where the exit rows are based on the Orbitz diagram and the Seatguru.com diagram. Any seat advice would be appreciated.

Note that at the top of the USAir A319 page on seatguru.com, it reads:

"Now that America West and US Airways have merged, you could be on either airline's aircraft. Be sure to consult both seating charts before making your seat selection."

Perhaps that's where the confusion lies?

Also, while on seatguru.com, have you dragged your cursor over the seats (especially the seats highlighted by color)? There's more info there.

A 319 would have 3 seats on each side in row 6. The exit row is different between USAir and America West.

It is my understanding that all the A319s and A320s are being configured to uniformly match the America West configuration, which has more seats... but I could be wrong.

As such, even if you are on an East A319, it might look like a West 319.

IIRC, 10A and 10F are the best - exit row recline with no seat in front of you for extreme legroom - row 9 only has 4 seats across.
