Hello
I'm from the UK and would like to visit Antigua (Carlisle Bay, 5 days) and St Lucia (some place, 3 days) in early October.
Does anyone know what the weather should be like at that time - eg very humid or hurricanes? thanks

Obviously one must be aware of the risk of hurricanes in the Caribbean in October. That said, the chance of a hurricane disrupting an 8-day holiday is small. For me, the lower prices that can be found in October more than compensates for the slight risk.
Antigua, in general, has a lower humidty than St Lucia.
Enjoy the islands. :)

There is also some good weather info for St. Lucia in October here:

Be sure to visit English Bay/Nelson's Dockyard on the south side of Antigua. The site was developed back when Admiral Nelson was only a lowly Captain. I also found the Anglican Cathedral and graveyard in Saint John's quite interesting.
