Hi everyone,
I will be flying KE from the US and within Asia in December. Does KE give economy passengers amenity kits (such as toothpaste and toothbrush)? Since toothpaste is banned, I would hope they would give those out.

Thanks!

Amenity kits are not provided in C class, but toothbrushes in the C toilets are available. I think I remember reading somewhere that Y class pax now receive some small inflight items. I think even if not available, if you ask one of the nice flight attendants, they can get you a toothbrush from the C class toilet!

Toothbrushs and toothpastes are available in Y class lavatories too. I also recall the reading that they started to give out amenity kits in Y class a while ago.

Just flew SEA-ICN 3 weeks ago in C. No amenity in C but there was one in coach. It had a toothbrush, a pair of socks and eye cover and i think ear plugs in a KE signature color skyblue zipper pouch.

The lack of amenity kits in C is one of the big weaknesses of KE. Always wondered what their rationale was. I do like the spray bottles of Jeju water, though.

KE does not give out amenity kits in C or even in F but all the items are available. In F the FA's come around with the items on a sivler tray for you to choose what you want. IN C you just have to ask for a specific item. I actually prefer this as you only use what you need. And it saves KE money by not having to supply every item to every passenger.

I flew KE Y from JFK-ICN-BKK back in June and they gave out a pretty decent kit on the transpac legs. It is a KAL blue zippered pouch with a blue eyeshade, some socks, and a travel toothbrush/tube of toothpaste. Unless it's changed, that ought to be what you get. I actually keep the thing around when I'm traveling around and use the eyeshade, which always gets a few looks...

I flew RT ORD-INC last month, cheapy seats...WAAAAYYYY in the back and got an amenity kit on both legs. It was the nice greenish kit with sleep mask, toothbrush, and socks. I will be flying early October, again WAAAAYYYYY in the back cheap seats and will post whether I got a kit or not. BTW I did not receive anything for the cheap seats when I traveled to HCMC last month but that is only a 5 hour flight
