Got an inquiry from a coworker who by-gawd wants to take the family (kids age 3, 14, 15) for a 10-day All-In for April 2007 ~ hey, who am I to argue ? :D
On the first run-thru, the Paradise Island came up at about $8k ($<12k with air from FNT). Is that crazy, or am I just living too cheap?
Anyway, let's hear what y'all got.

You might want to look at some of the hotels on Cable Beach. IMHO. nicer and musch more reasonalble than Paridise Island

Bahamian fire laws prohibit room occupancy of more than 4 people, so undoubtedly your co-worker was paying for two rooms. A ten night all inclusive will be pricey anywhere, but I assume he/she may have been pricing out the Atlantis.
April is Easter break time and I doubt that there are any great deals to be had.
Having said that....no, the price probably isn't out of line with what he'll find for that long a trip at that time of year. Now that I think of it, if that's the price he got for 5 including food at Atlantis, that's not a bad deal.
Personally, we liked the Radisson on Cable Beach (they offer all-inclusives).
