My wife and I will be travelling to Phuket on a Saturday in December and ideally, would like to go directly to Khao Lak from the airport. My wife does NOT want to miss going to Church either on Saturday evening (the day we arrive) OR on Sunday day time. The only Catholic services I could find on the net are in the Patong area, which is out of the way. We can always take a day trip on Sunday, especially to go to Church from Khao Lak to Patong if there are no other alternatives.

Does any one know of a Catholic Church that might be on the north side?
Also, what should I expect to pay for a car with driver from Khao Lak to Patong and back to Khao Lak?

The Dusit Laguna Resort used to have Catholic services in one of its meeting rooms on Sunday mornings. I am not sure if they still do or not though. Might be worth contacting them. About 30 minutes north of Patong - so closer to Khao Lak.

There is a catholic church maybe five kilometres north of the Khao Lak Meridien (Our Lady of Grace)

3/7 Moo 7, Bangsak, Takuapa District, near Taptawan Beach Bus Stop, tel. 081 9584120 or 085 2990410

Sunday Mass at 9 am.

It also appears to be a base for Caritas Italy
