I usually visit Brewerkz or the lounge at the Atrium(formerly Concorde)hotel. I have 5 nights next May-June to expand my horizons. Would you please tell me about your favorite Happy Hour extablishment so that I may also enjoy it?
I came across this list it seems to be current: http://www.hubbing.sg/forums/showthread.php?t=1826

I have also booked a new place for lodging during my stay, have any of you heard of it or stayed there?
www.1BnBSingapore.com S$60 for a king size bed and breakfast, 25th floor location and use of the common rooms, is the best deal I have ever gotten in S'pore.

Looking forward to reading your comments!

The BnB is just someone's apartment that is being rented out.
My sis stays in Spottiswoode Park and the location is a quiet residential area...a bit of a walk to the bus/MRT, but convenient at that price.

My comments on the bars you listed that I've been to:

Devil's Bar: Used to be Man Utd's Red Cafe...noisy young cheap crowd.
Cafe Iguana: same owner as Brewerkz. Great margaritas, and you can order beers from Brewerkz as well. 15% additional discount on happy hour prices if you pay with an Amex card and make a reservation in advance (same deal at Brewerkz). Mexican food is so-so, but after a little alcohol, you don't really care :D
Balaclava: Hangout for the Suntec yuppie crowd. Good eye candy ;)
Wala Wala: What can I say...I like most of the Holland V bars :)
Ice Cold Beer: Good crowd. Good beer. Good music.
Zouk Wine Bar/Velvet: Used to be good but quality of the people seems to have gone down after the renovation.
Harry's Bar: Nice place to hang out at..jazz inside and the river outside. Big expat crowd builds up at happy hours.

Places I like:
Oosters (http://www.oosters.com.sg/promotion.htm)
loof (http://loof.com.sg/rooftopbar/)
Muddy Murphy's (http://www.muddymurphys.com/muddy_home.htm)
Kazbar (http://www.kazbar.com)
Bar Stop at Devonshire Rd.

Its Singapore...everything is a short, (relatively) cheap cab ride away. I might just be there for a few days in May...let me know closer to then.
