Has anyone any experience with Turkish Airlines hand baggage weights?

I'll be doing an LHR-IST shortly, I've already got a new case to take on board, I just can't find any info on their website as to the weight.

As you are flying ex-UK, you will have to abide by the BAA hand baggage restrictions (http://www.heathrowairport.com/portal/controller/dispatcher.jsp?CiID=fb9da11b4763d010VgnVCM10000036 821c0a____&ChID=b0eba11b4763d010VgnVCM10000036821c0a____&Ct=B2C_CT_GENERAL&CtID=448c6a4c7f1b0010VgnVCM200000357e120a____&Ch=Security+control&ChPath=Home%5ELHR%5EAirport+Information%5ESecurity +control&ChIDPath=caf397dc2eb12010VgnVCM100000147e120a____^ bde597dc2eb12010VgnVCM100000147e120a____^473797dc2 eb12010VgnVCM100000147e120a____^b0eba11b4763d010Vg nVCM10000036821c0a____) regardless of airline, which means smaller than usual hand luggage on the outbound flight.

For the return flight, you are entitled to 8kg of hand baggage according to this page (http://www.thy.com/en-INT/help/faq/general_baggage_information.aspx).

I can't see where BAA specifies a weight, only dimensions, which I have under control.

Fortunately my case weights under 8kg so at least on the inbound I am covered.

Cool! thank you!

As Golden said. The size-"boxes" are around sometimes, but they are not much used.
