Does anybody know how long does it take to get from Narita Airport to Ageo City in Saitama?

There are buses to Saitama (and you could take a bus to, say, Omiya then change to the train) but that would be slower.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was hoping to visit a distant relative in Ageo during a 8 hour layover but I think 2 hours one way cuts too close for me.

You could take another option.

Heli Express between NRT and Kawajima AP, Saitama. It takes 25 min. one way between the 2 points and operates nearly on demand.
From Kawajima to Ageo city center, it is half-an-hour drive.
