This has been discussed in various places, but I wanted to verify that it's still an issue with US...

I bought a ticket from AUS-PHX in May. When my upgrade window rolled around I noticed no change to my reservation so I assumed the upgrade had not gone through. There was only one seat remaining, so I figured it was being held for sale. In order to verify that I hadn't been upgraded, I called silver reservations. They looked at the availability and upgraded me over the phone. I'm within two days of the flight, so the automatic processing doesn't seem to have done the job.

I just wanted to alert people that sometimes calling reservations will do the trick, even if the upgrade gnome hasn't done it for you.

Yup! Until the rest of the website proves to be working correctly I have little trust in the upgrade gnome, and still call to make sure.
