I don't get over here a lot anymore since I've moved my flying to AA and UA, but I did want to come over here and let you know what I found out from a Comair friend of mine. Today at CVG in the employees' lounge, US Airways care team members were volunteering to assist Comair employees in dealing with emotional issues of the crash aftermath. They weren't doing this for the money. In fact, it appears that they were volunteering their time to assist the colleagues from a fellow airline cope.
I've always admired the people who work with US Airways. They have some of the best people in the airline business working for them. And this certainly backs it up. So three cheers to the pilots and other US Airways staff who are lending a helping hand. It shows real class, and I wanted those of you in the US family to know just how good the people in your airline are.
I only stopped flying with them because I had such a difficulty using my miles. I actually still fly them but as a UA premier instead. This certainly epitomizes why I do that. US is a class airline, and with evidence like that, it can't be disputed.
