Hi,

I have never posted here so please be gentle....I have 26,021 Dividend Miles. I have not flown US Air in ages and my most recent transactions were a AMEX membership miles point transfer in 2004 and a bonus for enrolling to get my statements online (that was in Feb. 2006)

From what I'm reading it looks like if there is not activity in 18 months your account will cancel. I don't have any plans to travel on US Air in the near future but I don't want to lose the miles. I know I can sit for a few months but here's my question. Would you apply for the Bank of America Credit Card for $90. and get 25K miles more? I could at least use that in the future for a FC seat possibly or 2 coach seats.

ANy other ways I can add miles to keep the account active? I usually fly CO and then UA and I honestly cannot even remember how I got the bulk of the 25K miles. I know its going back a LONG time ago and may have included sign up bonuses....that's how long ago it probably was.

I hate burning miles just for the point of burning them but of course that is an option. From what I've read it seems its a lot easier to get reward seats on US as opposed to CO. Just wish they flew more places non stop from EWR.

Cheers
