While checking fares from PA cities to MCO I noticed the fares were always lower with CLT connections than PHL connections. Anyone know why?

Maybe cause of the fare sale from/to CLT right now? From the email, it looked like there were lots of $79 o/w flights to and from CLT.
Not sure, but that would be my guess.

You're right, there are a lot of low fares from CLT listed. However, the dates I'm looking at are for next summer.

I've noticed that sometimes flights ex-ALB (Albany, NY) are much cheaper when the connection is in CLT. My guess (at least for ALB) is that the RJs they fly to Philly are selling out of the cheap buckets and the 737s going to CLT still have plenty of open seats.
I prefer to fly through CLT for most trips - just to maximize miles...but the cheaper fare helps too. Just FYI - I typically find this only towards the 2-3 week pre-flight time and not so much when looking further out.

CLT cheaper than PHL? Be thankful. Take the fare, run, and be very, very, very thankful, knowing that you're much more likely to get to where you're going on time.
