We're going on our honeymoon to Italy in a week. My dad booked our tickets using United MP miles. We're on US air from SEA - PHL, PHL - FRA, and then Lufthansa from FRA to MXP. We have first class seat on the domestic portion of the trip, Envoy class to Frankfurt, then business class to Milan.
We are not members of any club, just lucky enough my dad was willing to use 160,000 of his miles for our 1st class tickets!
Even though we're not club members, can we use any lounges/clubs, for instance the Envoy Club in PHL? What about in Seattle, while we're waiting to leave, or in Frankfurt? Any advice appreciated, since I don't fly all that much.

you can definitely use the Envoy lounge in Philadelphia which is awesome. You'll be given access to an arrivals lounge in FRA - the UA RCC. You can also use the LH Business lounge with your onward business tickets. Both have showers. Neither have very good food though.
I think you can use the RCC in SEA on your outbound if you have same-day international business class tickets but I wouldn't swear to it.
On the return you can use the LH Business lounge in Milan, one of many lounges in FRA - the UA RCC is definitley the most convenient option. Once in Philly you can use the US Club but not the Envoy Lounge. US Club's in A-West or B/C will be convenient to your return SEA departure.

Thanks for the information! That's very helpful. I assume we won't be able to use the Envoy Lounge on the return because it's in the international departures area of the airport ? I'm a little confused by that.

No it's a sub-section of the regular US Club in A-West. It's just an added benefit for transatlantic departures for Envoy and *G. *G returning from international, and returning Envoy class get's regular lounge access. It's a crowd/expense of food/liqour control thing.
Be happy you get it on the outbound. Fly UA and you just get the same old RCC unless you are in international F.
