Ok, so I'm flying in CO BF for the first time (TLV-EWR), and was wondering what the kosher meal is like.

I eat meat strictly kosher, but I'm totaly open to eating fish and other stuff non-certified.

Also, anyone know if, if I request kosher and change my mind, they can provide me with the regular stuff?

Thanks!

I can not answer specifically about CO but I know that many airlines serve the same kosher meal in Biz as they do in Coach. (This is definitely true for AF, AZ, and DL.)

It is a compromise in quality between Y and Biz quality. This is the reason that when flying Coach I always ask for kosher meals.

It's been a couple of years, but I have ordered the Kosher meal in CO BF ex LGW and ex IAH many times.

It is not the same as the economy class meal. Ex IAH, usually it is a pasta type entree with chicken and ex LGW it does vary considerably. BTW, I am muslim but CO's muslim meal is basically a vegetarian or fish entree and since I like a bit of meat and consider Kosher and Halal to be equally blessed by God, I eat Kosher on CO.

Out of TLV it is definately a different meal, as per a recent article in the Israeli press.
As to EWR I would assume therefire that it is also different but the best thing is to check with CO

Would you have a link to that article?

Also, question that has nothing to do with it, but I don't want to start a thread just for it in the CO forum.
Do you guys know if I can enter a CO President's club (EWR) wearing shorts and flip-flap (although fancy flip flap :) )? Or is biz attire required?
