I have not been to Bermuda recently. I was taken aback to read that gang violence has increased in Bermuda with reported ties to US street gangs Crips & Bloods.

To date violence has not affected tourists, but Hamilton's backstreets have been the scene of assaults after bars close.

My brother and I shut down a different place every night and just wandered around walking. Never felt or saw anything threatening.
