I will be in this area for a wedding in October, and I would like a nice place to get a manicure and possibly have my hair done. Does anyone have a recommendation in the vicinity? I would prefer not to go to a strip mall kind of establishment.

My pleasure. It's actually pretty convenient from I-84/Rt. 72. Take 72 west until the expressway ends, take a right, and it's less than a mile down on the left hand side.
