Hello all,

Is it fantasy to think that there's any way I can get US Airways to change the return date of a Dividend Miles ticket that I'm on from FRA-JFK on Singapore Air? I'm appalled that I can't use my Singapore Air ticket, given the wonderful experience everyone bills it to be, but I also don't want to have to spend 1) 50,000 on a one-way ticket to change to return 10 days early, or 2) $500 on a one-way ticket paid on another airline. Is there any possibility to have a partial mileage refund?

I don't understand the situation you're in or what exactly you're trying to accomplish. Can you explain it a little more?

No, there are no partial mileage refunds. Award tickets are for round trip travel.

Unless something has changed, or I'm confusing FFPs again :), no changes are permitted on a *A award ticket once travel has commenced.

it is my understanding (unsubstantiated) that once travel has commenced, you can change dates, but not carriers/routes, based on availability -- but with a caveat that you need to exchange paper tickets at a local office. i bet the folks in the *A forum would know with more certainty that i.

I'm pretty sure this is specific to each FFP. I know on UA they do not allow any changes at all on a *A award ticket once travel has commenced.
