I thought I read some where that Aug 3 there were going to be some major changes to US' website? Where are they? The website still loads as slow as can be. I have not noticed anything different at all.
The big thing they need to do is change the flexible dates. That feature is COMPLETELY USE LESS!
Anyone got news on the changes that were suppose to happen?

They eliminated redundancy and back-ups in the system. Last night was a global lock on access; both from the website and corporate access in airports and reservation centers.

Anybody know when we will be able to book codeshare flights (like United)? United has a direct (express) flight from ORD to STL - USAir website suggests that you MUST transfer in Pittsburgh or Charlotte, because it won't list the United flights.

:D I would, but it's not a roundtrip - I need that as one leg of a multi-segment trip, with all the other segments on US and/or US express flights. Just seems like the US website ought to let you book any US and partner flights like it used to before they "improved" it.

I have also been waiting patiently for the code share flights (specifically *A) to be added to USAirways.com. I have been asking weekly via the online chat feature when these flights will be available for booking. The response has gone from "4 to 6 weeks" (about 4 weeks ago) to "we don't know if or when these flights will be added." Unbelievable.
I just called the USAirways.com outsourced support line (800-327-7810) and received the following response: The code share flights for Star Alliance partners will be available for booking on the website within one week.
We'll see

No Aug. 3rd improvements could be found from this user. But, on an interesting note, it took me 9 minutes to check-in last night online (previously booked ticket, before I started my US avoidance).
9 minutes! 9! And that's not including the broken link from the my account page.

(By the way, quick trip report, no pre-flight bev. on mainline service out of LGA, except for the non-revver F/As in row 3 behind me. When she brought them coffee I asked if she could drop a bottle of water on her next trip back. Response? Not 'till we're in the air.
Later, when she came by with the snack basket I said "no thanks" and she pushed it back in my direction and said she was only doing one pass. I again said "no thanks, I don't do chips or cookies for breakfast" and she said "fine, we'll I ain't gonna force you."
How many folks in F/C on this flight? 3! Myself and the two non-revs.
I'm so done with this BS.)
Sorry for the off-topic rant. I'm done.

It appears that they updated the page for the "Daily Dividends" contest:

It now has more graphics.

On the upside, I tried to book 3 tickets for two trips on the new website and it actually worked. Correctly. Wahoo! :D

This website is absoultely horrible. I need to book DCA DFW SAT then SAT DFW DCA
The old US website would pull up AA since US did not fly DFW SAT non-stop. This one just tells me sorry US does not fly this route.
I just called US Customer Relations and they just told me that this is the first time they have heard of this problem?????? What kind of crap is that??!!
Listen guys I am getting tired of being lied to. That was a true slap in the face. This is getting old. I don't know how you all have delt with this for so long. I just can't believe they would put this website out there and it is just complete trash. Looks pretty but the smell is terrible!

. . . I don't know how you all have delt with this for so long. . .
We never had Star Alliance, code-share, partner or non-partner booking options on the HP site. If HP didn't fly the route, you couldn't book it at americwest.com, you had to book elsewhere.
For the HP-only flights it did book, the site worked very well. Clearly they're choking on the international, partner and higher volume aspects of this.

You're lucky. It literally took me 20 minutes last weekend.

Well they need to change this and fast. You can't book *A or code share but you do have to call RES and if you are not SP you have to pay for the booking via the phone. That is just WRONG. Sorry but the OLD US website was much better than this piece of junk is anyday. As much as the old site had it's bugs....it does circles around this one hands down.

Any chance it might be delayed since they decided to test it?
