Soon to be flying PHL-PBI on an itinerary I book in June on the (then) new US Air web site. No problem booking seats for myself and my son. Also do a seperate booking for my wife who is flying out later in the day. After booking, I call the CP desk to request the E-UGs for the two of us & my wife. Everything seems to be in order.

7 days out, and we're not UG, though my wife ( also US1) is now UG confirmed F on her flight. A couple of days go by ( PC motherboard dies on me & deal with that issue ). I call the CP desk to inquire as to our UG status and I'm told that I'm not even on the list ( neither outbound or return flt). I ask how this can be, and I'm told it's because I made the reservation with HP and not US system. Long story short, I'm now UG and my son is waitlisted as a companion.

So who knows what is up with the website. I log into the award winning US Air web site as usual and book the seperate itineraries for my wife and I at the same time, call in and confirm UG WL for both of us. Later the system tells reservations that I book via HP and my WL disappears while my wife's UG proceeds as it should have.

Luckily I catch their omission. Doesn't say much for the US IT people.

Unfortunately this is how life will probably be until the reservation systems are merged in 2007. Speaking from an IT perspective, an excuse of "it's complicated" is probably not the right answer, but it is the truth.

Same thing happend to me on my Buffalo trip.

i called two nights ago to ask about the return on non RJ hardware.

He said we (CP and my SP fiance) weren't even on the list... We got the upgrades, but sort of weird that we weren't even on the list. The logic that we bought via the AW makes sense since my US flights were all upgraded previously.

Sounds like calling is the best way if you booked via the website...

I have two usairways.com itineraries and prompted by this thread, I called the CP desk today to see if I was in the queue. The agent, who sounded like a CP Angel and who sounded very polite and competent, said that I was in the queue for all of my eligible flights. She was also able to give me SABRE record locators for my itineraries. Now we will see what happens. The only thing is that even with these SABRE PNRs, I still am not able to view them on virtuallythere.com. I guess that is because they were SHARES moved to SABRE and not original SABRE bookings?
