Hey all,
I am headed ot the aquarium with some out of town guests and want parking recommendations. I know there are tons of garages right around the harbor, but the one the aquarium partners with is $15 even with the aquarium coupon. (It's on Gay Street at Pratt Street). Are there any others which are nearby the Inner Harbor with better rates? Thanks!

That is pretty much the going rate for all day parking. If you are coming during a weekday, some garages have early bird specials.

I pay $12 a couple blocks from the harbor when I go for work. Big garage there. Not sure if that is worth it.

From the harbor it's north on Calvert (next to The Gallery mall), then right on Water St to enter the garage. Water St. is a very small side street (not quite alley, but close) just past Lombard. You can see the garage on Lombard, too, but you can't enter from there.

Personally, I wouldn't park up there to save $3. Gay at Pratt is much closer to the aquarium (pretty much right in front of it, just a short walk down the pier at most) and worth the extra 3 bucks if that is the focal point of your stay in the harbor.

Thanks guys. I ended up at the Bank of America Center garage (at S. Hanover and Pratt). Only $10 on the weekends. I'll never understand parking garage prices (I'm from DC and don't understand them here either) as both Gay St. and Bk. America are Central Parking but there's $8 difference for having a 2 block shorter walk.
