What is the closest hotel to Hatch Shell? Would like to walk to and fro. Thanks very much.

The Ritz on Arlington is probably closest, but the Four Seasons, Park Plaza, XV Beacon, Sonesta (Cambridge), Holiday Inn (Govt Center), and Radisson are all within a 10-minute walk. Another 5 minutes walk brings in all the Copley/Prudential hotels.

this suggestion is not a hotel but a bed & breakfast. It is also within a 5 minute walk to the Hatch Shell. The John Jeffries House (http://www.johnjeffrieshouse.com/), which is adjacent to Charles Circle (and the Charles MBTA stop).
