Taking a top client to Baltimore in August. What is the nicest hotel in Baltimore and why do you like it?

Why are you taking your top client to Baltimore?
Baltimore seems to be dominated by Marriott with several nice properties in the Inner Harbor area. I sayed at the Sheraton last year which is adjacent to the convention center and houses a Morton's restaurant. It was very nice. There are a couple nice boutique properties in Fell's Point but I would think they would be a better choice for a couple than a business meeting.

The Harbor Court (now an intercontinental) is usually considered to be the top hotel in Baltimore. Among the reasons why: twice daily maid service, good fitness center, pool, tennis court, two four star restaurants.
Quiet luxury, in my opinion. And quite a contrast to the busy and loud hotels down the block...though i do like the harbor rooms at the Hyatt.
Harbor Court does have great harbor views from the waterside rooms, though the courtyard ones are also very nice and a bit quieter. I haven't been in a year, but I can't imagine it's changed in that time.

That does look very, very nice:

Why are you taking your top client to Baltimore?
Business reasons - not for entertainment value. I want to make it as nice as possible while we are there.

I'm hardly an expert, but I have had outstanding stays at the Renaissance. This hotel is VERY focused on customer service, which gives it a very upscale feel.

Why not?? :)

it is very nice! Some of the others in the area are too big and busy. This one, even when full, is calm. It's a different class of hotel.
