The Choice website says to allow 15 days after checkout for your points-earning stay to post, and my experience in the past year was that it never took less than a week, usually took at least one and a half to two weeks, and more than once took about three weeks.

Imagine my surprise Thursday morning when I refreshed my My Account page (I always leave it open now since Choice redesigned their sign-in process such that Netscape can't fill in my password anymore :td: ), and there was the Monday night stay (checkout Tuesday morning) already posted, with Choice Visa booking bonus points and all! ^ ^ ^

Is this a fluke, or have other people noticed a sudden speediness in posting as well?

My last stay posted pretty quickly, maybe within two or three days but nothing as fast as yours. I'll definitely check on my stays next week though.

From the initial 2-3 weeks back in March, mine started posting in 1-2 weeks. I transferred some Diner's points over, and it was done in a couple of days.

Quick Update: I've had quite a few Choice stays since this was first posted and the points are still posting fairly quickly with the exception of my last stay this past Sunday. I must say its very refreshing to see those bonus points piling up so quickly after checkout.

Any other Choice guests still having the same luck?

Choice has now stated that:
Speaking of fast, from now on we'll post your points to your account within 72 hours of each qualifying stay. That means you'll be able to redeem points sooner and enjoy your rewards in record time.


Don't know how long this policy has been in effect, but it's welcome news.
