I was visitng Baltimore for 3 days with a lot of free time and played golf at Waverly Woods (http://www.waverlywoods.com/pages/course/course_layout.htm) . The course is in very good shape and had a great practice area. The location is an easy 20 minute ride from downtown and is right off I-70.
