Anyone here had experience with the Oriental, after their renovation?
I really need to know, if their twinbed rooms are 2 single beds or 2 queen beds. I'll be in Singapore for 3 nights with my husband and 2 kids (4 and 5 yo), and would love to experience the oriental.

Having travelled extensively with two children, I can tell you that you need to contact the hotel and ask what the occupancy rules are for the room, whatever the bed configuration. You just can't bank on getting four people into any room outside of the US. Check the Oriental's website, or send them an e-mail to find out which room would work for you. Singapore is a fun destination for kids, though, so I know you will have a great time.

Just get back from Singapore. My family stayed at The Oriental for 2 nights. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore. The hotel shows true hospitality to my family. Their room is spacious, with 2 single bed and extra bed for free. From the doorman to the managers are very courteous to me and even to my 2 young childrens. ^ ^

I stay there often and while I've never brought kids, I see lots of families there. Especially by the pool.
It's a great hotel, kids or no kids.
