Hi,

I have to book a flight BOS-PHX for June 4 through June 9th via Amex Corp Travel. I am a member of the United milage plus program.

Yesterday I called United Milage Plus and they said that as of May 20th, the HP flights count towards Milage Plus.

Today (5/27) I called again and they said that AWE flights count for milage plus. When I asked for getting this in writing via email, they said they cannot do that but she gave me her name and said that she is the manager and I have nothing to worry about.

I know a lot of discussion has been posted on this subject with no clear consensus, but with the green light from UAL staff (verified twice) should i be ok to book my travel?

Any input is appreciated.

Kind regards,
George

Dont know

But even if they count towards EQM and RDM - they will not count towards lifetime miles, accruing 500 milers or CR1's. Also - HP coach sucks :D

If you do BOS-PHX thru DEN you can actually fly on a real plane from BOS-DEN in FC

I would fly UAL but the client company is cheap - they to see fare differences between destinations. If it was within a reasnoble range, then I would do it no problem.

And I don't have any UAL status yet :( so no upgrades to FC or anything
