With all the talk of the combined miles program appearing and bonus miles catching up, I have to break in with this not so happy thread.
Has anyone had their accounts show incorrect mileage amounts or lots of missing miles that they held in their balance long term? I'm not talking, miles not posting, I'm talking about miles accumulated earlier this year, or even last that have disappeared.
I had 0 miles with HP, I have only accumualted miles in the US program. i went from 172K banked miles to about 5k this week after the new website appeared. I contacted customer service but they are still on autopilot and are just replying with the whole spiel about "miles not posting for periods between April 29th and May 20th".
I'm hoping these will all magically appear again, but I'm a little concerned. Thing is, I can't even book a single award ticket right now if I wanted.
Luckily my account still recognizes me as CP, but it just doesn't show any evidence of how I ever got there!

Do not worry. There is a 98% chance that everything will turn out very right. I talked with one of my senior executive contacts from US yesterday afternoon. The majority of US FF acounts have not yet been updated. They expect to have them all finished by next Thursday. I haven't even bothered checking mine yet.
If your numbers are still wrong then, it probably indicates a problem. The approach that they are taking is much different and much less effective than the one taken by AA with TWA and by DL with Western.

Your story is common. All of my miles, from US Airways travel, have disappeared. The line is that they will reappear by either June 9 or 15. Some other posters have been able to book reward flights by telephone pending the reinstatement of their miles.

About 4K of my miles that were in my account are no longer there. I've been flying US forever but "it'll be fixed in mid-June" ain't gonna cut it with me. I just emailed my next three weeks of travel receipts on SW/CO and let them know that when my miles reappear, so will I.
It's not about the miles, it's about making the new site live before they should have. Those who drink the kool-aid hold your breath, I don't want to hear excuses about the website. I'm a fan of US but I will not be taken for granted.
Mid-June is OK to fix my problem, that's when me and all of my coworkers will be back.

What is very disconcerting about this entire exercise is that is should never have been done this way. The CIO at USAIR should be fired for this debacle. The system should have been set up in parallel to the existing system and all of the accounts migrated before any of this was exposed to the outside world. Some idiot decided to put a system that was under development into production before it was ready. Will they get it right? I have no idea. Is this a big mess? Absolutely. What limited access I have to my mileage balance is not even close to my previous balance before this migration to the new site. None of this surprises me.

This is the straw that broke the proverbial camels back. I am out....I wish it was not like this because they do have directs to most places I go....but hey I will take connections to avoid this hassle.
I used to have a VERY high opinion of USAir.....not any more...

You have to understand that the entire senior team at US, and all of their followers are simply breathing Doug's exhaust. No person there will put him in his place. When he ran HP alone, he was an okay guy...largely focused on the airline and its customers. Now he is focused apparently exclusively on his restricted stock and long term net worth.
Customer opinions are heading way south, internal employee relations are much worse than they have ever been...particularly with their field employees. Headquarters turnover is very high.
Everything about US is now an outright lie. So, it certainly does not surprise me that so many errors are occurring. The really funny part is that none of them have the brains or guts to send out an apology under Doug's signature.
In simple terms, that means that they also lack the brains to stem their losses and improve their system and financial results.

Ive been in contact with a few sr execs at US. You are so right Phoenix, Doug can do no wrong. "Give us time!!!" How much time do you need is what I always respond. They say, but it will be done soon.
Im out, NW/CO has my next 19 flights I just booked!

The 10,000 preferred miles I had earned so far this year for spending $25K on my US Visa have vanished. Great.
I assume US just lost a ton of information about its customers or couldn't find a way to transfer that information to be reachable through the new website. Having to re-create my payment options, seat preferences, etc. for my login account did not leave me impressed.

Please fax your itinerarys to US Customer Relations with your reasons why you chose a different carrier.

Why not bring back the old bankrupt, out of control USAirways then. What would your miles be worth then when the airline is out of business? Be thankful that an airline stepped up and preserved your miles. They didn't have to do that. Be happy rather than just simply disgruntled....it could be worse.

According to a note on the new website, "From May 17 through June 30, any miles you earn with Bank of America Visa cards will not be included in your Dividend Miles account balance. You will be earning miles on your purchases during this time, however, you will not be able to access them for redemption until July 1. We apologize for any inconvenience, and will keep you posted if there are any updates."
My Mastercard miles are also missing from my account, so I have written to find out the date those will become available.

I looked at the "all activity" section of my account, and they've been giving and taking away miles for no apparent reason with monikers like "Elite bonus" and "Non elite bonus"
It all nets to zero, but confusing nonetheless.

All miles I've gained with my BofA visa over the past two months have dissappeared. I've been assured that they will re-appear by July 1.
It's fine with me as all other miles are accurate. I would be very annoyed if I were planning to redeem any awards in the near future. Luckily, I'm not.

yea it is interesting . I never got my 10k preferred miles. I called usair and they said that I had to call visa. I called visa gave them my numbers, they said that they had no control over that, it was a usair program though them, they release the info to usair and they convert it . I called usair again and they said they were not sure. They told me that I had plenty of miles and should "let it go"

This just gets better and better. I called to find out whether they have found any of the miles missing from my account (somewhere around 300,000+), and although the website is working right now, none of the DM phone agents can access the accounts for the "next hour or so." I really am beginning to feel like I am on Candid Camera! :(

Ok so I just went on the website to submit flight information for missing miles. Once I filled out all the information I hit submit, it says the form can not send email and I should call AWA. Seems like the website problems aren't getting fixed. I am missing a flight from a month ago plus about 7K of miles from my account. Anyone else have any luck

I have not yet contacted them about my missing 17,000 US Airways Mastercard miles yet. I plan to give them until June 9, the supposed magic day things are supposed to work and be updated.

I feel your pain. As of starting this thread, I've had no changes so far. I have 7000 miles in the bank, when I should have 180,000 by now.
I think I have more credits in my Northwest account then Usair now and I'm a chairman with US.

I called CHP Desk and they explained that all miles/segments were summed correctly, and this is just statement detail that has to do w/ the database change. If you see, they added and subtracted the exact amount back to back and the elite balance is still accurate as of 4/28/06. They said it has to do with members accounts older than 1999. Seems fine to me.

My missing 170,000 miles have shown up! I am back to where i was before the website transition. Whew!
It didn't happen on June 9th as I thought it might. It was during the middle of last week sometime. (June 14th?)
