I am trying to get to a friends wedding in Shanghai on a Sunday evening. I booked a flight via AA using AA miles on LY95 that leaves at 00:35AM and arrives at 15:00 in PEK, I then have to run and catch a domestic flight to SHA to make the wedding just barely.

1. Does LY95 have a good on-time record?
2. Being Israeli is it sent to a remote gate at PEK etc or, in general can I book a domestic connection for 16:00 (no luggage)
3. I am currently in coach award (R class) 45K AA miles a biz award is 60K miles but no availability what is the biz award booking class? (for expertflyer look up) Does LY clear up awards or forget about it? Does this flight tend to go out full in biz? I assume there is no F on these LY767s...

BTW these AA awards to far east are a great deal

Ive never priced a flight like this. But with CO charging 60k for a EWR-PEK coach tkt, it doesnt make that LY @ 45k seem as such a great deal.

I would imagine that LYs Biz would be Full All the time with Biz people flying on Paid tkts, but one never knows.

short hops TLV-EUR are 40k/60k Y/C TLV-far-east 45K/60K so that comparatively is awesome CO deal is even better how would C price out?

TY nice to hear. 1st day of MBA I am assigned a study group with him, a chinese national, a world of cultural differnces to learn, overcome and bridge... Wasn't easy but lifelong friends. Unfortunately I must be in Eilat till Sat so cannot take a flight a few days earlier...

Till 3/31 it was 30k in coach on CO to PEK.

BF is 120k

Both of these amounts are for standard Awards, of cause Good luck getting/finding 1 but they do exist. Ive had a few friends even get confirmed in BF to TLV lately when buying an "H" fare, so Dreams can & do come true at CO , although you better be doing alot of Praying before hand.
