been offered a connection from Heathrow to Bangkok via doha with just 35 mins transit time, im assured by the agent this is enough as the MCT is 30 mins. DO you think id be risking it?

If both flights are on time, then you will be fine. Doha airport is tiny. If one is delayed, you'll be in trouble. Also, if they have enough people connecting they might hold the flight.

Agree with sadiqhassan. Let's just hope there are enough passengers on the connecting flight to BKK from your flight. Problem with Doha is that there is a lot of construction going on right now and lines can get a bit long.

If you don't make it they may be willing to reroute you thru Dubai on EK - otherwise you'll be stuck Doha till the morning flight on QR (not such a bad prospect in my view actually).

Hi,
I plan to fly HYD-MCT-HYD on QR, in J.
The return leg has a 1 hour layover in DOH, would this be adequate?
I can't seem to find any info on J/F(the MCT-DOH leg is in F) in the A320s, how do they compare to J in the GF A320s.
Thanks

Regarding your hour layover - see posts above as the same quotes apply.
I recall doing DOH-DXB in F and J last year on a QR A320. Their planes are sold as 2 class F and Y on Intra Gulf routes sometimes, and J and Y at other times - with the J and F seats being the same.
I reacall the food being comparable but as the F flight was early morning and the J flight was mid afternoon it was difficult to ascertain if the F food was of a better standard. Of course you can use the F lounge and get the BMW transfer to the plane in DOH when the plane is sold as F

Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately the BMW transfer only applies to European routes(thats the info I found on their website) It sounds pretty cool and I was looking forward to it.
I managed to find some good photos of the cabin, its the A319, but apparently the A320 is similar. Looks superior to the GF A320 J product.
