US Airways Group Inc. Chief Executive Doug Parker, who rejected a $770,000 bonus to show solidarity with employees of the struggling airline, received a compensation package of roughly $5.7 million last year. That's more than four times what he received in 2004.

I laugh everytime I see: Doug Parker, USAirways Group CEO. It just seems to me that it should still be HP.
Anyway, it's not easy to merge failing airlines you know. It's probably pretty demotivating. I mean, that's worth a couple million, right??

I'd suggest that folks go straight to the source (http://www.usaviation.com/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=28211&view=findpost&p=371015) to get the scoop on Mr. Parker's salary and compensation. It's much more informative than simply saying he gets 5.7 mil or 2 cents. the numbers are sort of mind boggeling however.
