Flying int'l economy. Before departing the US, am I restricted to the Red Carpet Club, or am I somehow entitled to use the better int'l FC lounge?

assuming the rules are similar to those in Europe, *G (in the days when I had it.... :( )just gets you the RCC - I was told in no uncertain terms by a FRA lounge dragon that FC lounges are strictly for FC passengers.

Apart from UGS etc as well I should imagine.

Thanks. I know there can be some confusion. Last year on US flying to Euroope thru PHL, they at first didn't want to let me into ANY lounge with my Gold card! Then I got into the standard lounge. My wife (also *Gold) got into the Envoy lounge with no trouble 3 days later!
