suitcase in Kunming, China but need it shipped to Bangkok ASAP
I have a suitcase in storage in Kunming. It's pick up expiry is May 1st (at that time, I'll be in Bangkok).
What are my options if I want this luggage shipped.

If you're looking for any semblance of reasonable prices, you'll have to go with ChinaPost's "overland" (or by sea) shipping option.
It will cost upwards of $200 US for a 35 lb suitcase to be shipped via an express carrier even under the cheapest option.
we enquired about shipping a bicycle from Kunming (30 lbs) to Taiwan: only about $40 via sea, $250++ via DHL.
Overland takes at least 30 days, though. I think to Thailand it would be at the lower end of this scale.
The main post office in Kunming is near the train station. There they will examine the contents, certify it for customs, package it and send it. Whether the agency that is holding the bag will do this for you, I don't know.
