Hi. Some charts say that on select flights, there are only 24 F/C on the A321, but I have never seen this.
Can someone explain?

You went to Harvard and you are not certain about the F seating on A321 aircraft?!?!?!?! All of US Airways' A321s feature 26 F seats. I guess Cornell did a fine job in educating me after all. :D

Yahhh, always 26. What you will probably find is that getting an elite upgrade on a 321 is the most difficult of all of their aircraft, despite the size of the cabin. I am CP and I have not been upgraded automatically even once and have flown the aircraft about 16 times. I always need to call the CP line and have the agent contact inventory for an upgrade seat.

Very strange - I always got upgrades at window as a silver. Even on transcon's I've been cleared as a silver and then had them sell upgrades - even when it was relatively full in the back.

That's really a broad statement. What routes were you on?
Traditionally the 321 and 319 have been amongst the easiest for me. Flew last week on a 321, had 2 guys that were silver with me...even they cleared.
Just like sold-out flights, I think it first depends on the route, then the aircraft configuration.

Same here. Many of my FLL - PHL - FLL flights operated by A321 aircraft have left the gate with several empty seats in F. Also, I have never encountered any problem upgrading PHL - LAX/SFO - PHL flights on this aircraft.

Why did that college thread get locked up? Probably the best thing I had seen going on this board in awhile. The thread title wasn't misleading....

Mods at it again. Anytime someone complains or a thread is slightly off the purpose of gaining miles...they whack your post or lock the thread. I guess the similarities amongst us US FF'ers is supposed to stop at just earning miles. What a shame...it's been dead around here for a while...that post woke everyone up.
Uh oh...I'm off-topic of this thread already...
