Does anyone have any suggestions for travelling from the UK to Corfu around May 22nd? The best prices I've seen are flights from Gatwick at 500 each!

I don't see how you've managed that! I used kelkoo.co.uk and used your outbound date, inbound one week later, I didn't see one fare over £200. You're not trying to buy a one way, are you?

All the cheap fares are charter tickets and they cost much more on the travel agent sites themselves (where I checked them).

I was also thinking about flying into Athens and taking a train or ferry maybe?

Expedia : £169 with Monarch, even a scheduled airline comes in at under £300

and that was just googling "london corfu flights" and looking at the first few results - took all of 3 minutes
