Is it possible to book entertainment at one MGM casino when you are staying at another one?
For example, if I am staying at MGM Grand, and want to make a booking for O at the Bellagio, can I do that at MGM and charge it to my room? If I have an entertainment credit as part of my accommodation package, would it be able to be applied against this type of booking?

It is physically possible to make charges at Bellagio to your MGM room. I don't know if your credit would apply.

And out of interest, if I wanted to book something at Bellagio, would I have to be at Bellagio when booking, or can I ask MGM to do the booking for me?

I'm not sure what you're getting at. You can just pick up the phone or ask the concierge.

The charge slips and restaurant checks at the MGM Mirage properties have a box to check to charge to your room at any of their hotels (MGM__, NYNY__, Bellagio__, Mirage__, TI__). I assume if you were to call the concierge or VIP services at your hotel they would be glad to set it up for you, the worst being they would say no and tell you what you had to do.

Yes you can if you are a PC member. I was a PM on the project that made all that possible after the merger. As far as the credit goes, it depends, it may or may not work (I know that was a great answer huh?)
NB: That was 3 years ago. If the system's broekn, not my fault :D

One trick many people don't know is that you can pick up a house phone in most hotels in Vegas and ask to be connected with another hotel. This service is free. The only place I've been where they refused is Excalibur.
