Has anyone tried the Joe's on Vegas out. The one on Chicago is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The tableside King Crab Legs can not be beat. I am heading to Vegas this weekend and we were thinging of giving it a try.

I've eaten there. It is pretty good. I actually don't eat shellfish, but the food I had was good and the people I was with enjoyed the crab legs. Plus you get to ride the semi-circular escalators in Caesars which is an adventure in itself!
I haven't eaten at any of the other branches, but it apparently is very similar to the (original?) one in Miami.

I've not tried it, but one of my friends has raved about it. (And she's one of my friends with restaurant opinions that I really trust.)

Do you have to tip the host a $50 like you do in Miami to get a seat in less than two hours?

The Chicago and Las Vegas locations take reservations. The Chicago location adheres fairly closely to those reservations, I will let you know about Vegas after this weekend. I am sure the $50 would work well if you don't have a reservation in Vegas.

The one in Las Vegas lets you make reservations and we were seated within 15 minutes of our scheduled time.

Well we went to Joe's on Saturday and it was excellent. Maybe a half notch below the one in Chicago, but everyone raved about their meal. As usual the King Crab Legs were the big hit. Talk about a marked up wine list though! Glad we were on expenses.
