Another start up fails.

OzJet abandons scheduled services after four months

Australian all-business class airline OzJet has ceased scheduled services and will focus on charters only, after just four months in business. The airline, established by former ex-Formula 1 team boss Paul Stoddart, launched services between Melbourne and Sydney with Boeing 737-200s late last year, with plans to add services to all major Australian cities. The airline failed to attract enough passengers to make the scheduled services viable, and is reducing its 100-strong workforce by about 70%, cutting its fleet to two aircraft and offering charter services. “OzJet will focus around ad hoc and VIP charters, something there is clearly a demand for in Australia as little, if any, competition exists in that market,”says Stoddart.

Doesn't seem like a failure, just a major trip.

Agreed with both of the previous two posters. This topic has little if anything to do with WS, save for certain parties using it to disparage other airlines and other parties to speculate about the motivation for posting on the thread.
