Any recommendations on a Helicopter tour of the canyon from vegas?

I did one last year in May with a company called Papillon. It was great - a little bit touristy, but i guess that's what we were. Would have been much cheaper to do the bus trip, but I couldn't bear spending 14 hours on the bus with 40 other people.

Round trip it was probably 3 hours. maybe 45min to an hour out, set down in the canyon at a picnic place they have - about 4 or 5 other helicopters landed there and - and then 45min to an hour back. Fits about 6 people in each helicopter and the pilot did a great job of explaining the sites as we crossed over lake meade and the hoover dam, etc.

I thought it was definitely worth the extra cost as compared to the bus tour.

I assume there are other outfits, this one seemed reliable and professional.
